About the Recipe

Ingredients
Cooking spray, or liner for Crockpot
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
3 ribs celery, finely chopped
1 medium onion, finely chopped
2-3 TBSP of HS Creations, LLC Savory Stuffing Blend
2 large eggs, beaten
2 cups low-sodium chicken broth
kosher salt (optional)
Freshly ground black pepper (optional)
7 cups stale bread, cubed into small pieces
1 Tbsp. parsley, finely chopped, plus more for garnish
Preparation
Step 1 - In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter. When melted, add celery, onion, and HS Creations, LLC Savory Stuffing Blend. Season with salt and pepper (optional) and cook until onions are translucent, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool.
Step 2 – Grease or line the bowl of your Crock-Pot and add your cubed bread. Pour vegetable mixture, eggs, broth, and parsley over bread. Toss to combine and cover.
Step 3 - Cook on low for 3 to 4 hours, stirring after 2 hours have passed. Garnish with parsley before serving.
