Ingredients
2 TBSP butter
2 TBSP of all-purpose flour or corn starch
1 cup of water
2 tsp of HS Creations, LLC Feelin’ Gravy Blend
Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
Heat the gravy. Toss all ingredients in a saucepan, whisk continuously to form a smooth paste (roux). Cook for about 2 or more minutes until it turns a light brown color. For thick gravy add more flour or cornstarch. As it cools it should thicken
Serve: Pour the gravy over mashed potatoes, roasted meats, or any dish that could use a savory, Feelin’ Gravy boost!
Fun Variations
Mushroom Gravy: Add sautéed mushrooms to the gravy for an earthy twist.
Onion Gravy: Caramelize onions and add them to the gravy for a sweet and savory flavor.
