Interesting article about Kirkland Organic, No Salt Seasoning. As a seasoning professional, I saw the following:
a) It looks as if they just threw together a hodgepodge of ingredients, which all of it doesn’t make any culinary sense.
b) They state a 14.5 oz lasts about two months? Ours is 4 oz and it can last up to a year if stored properly. With our blends a little does go a long way! For that size, I don’t get the 2 months. To me, if you’re using it that quickly, you are using it too much in order to get the essence of the flavor. THEN, the cost…. WOW!
c) It’s stored in clear plastic. Seasonings should be stored in dark, cool places, hence we package ours in recyclable tins.
It was interesting to note that they really couldn’t pair it with anything other than soups. Doesn’t sound very promising. Just my 2 cents. I always like to keep my customers well informed.
