About the Recipe

Ingredients
1 tsp. extra-virgin olive oil
2 medium yellow onions, finely chopped (about 1 c.)
2 stalks celery, finely chopped
2 carrots, finely chopped
1-2 TBSP of HS Creations Poultry Solved! Blend
1 lb. boneless, skinless chicken breasts, (eventually shredded or cut into 1/2" pieces ahead of time) - Just throw it in!
4 cups (32 oz.) low-sodium chicken broth
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped (optional)
Kosher salt (to taste)
Freshly ground black pepper (to taste)
Chopped parsley, for serving
Directions
Sprinkle the garlic, celery, carrots, and onion into the bottom of a 6- to 8-quart slow cooker.
Add the chicken broth and HS Creations Poultry Solved! Blend, and whisk together. Add the chicken, cover, and cook for 2 hours on high.
After 2 hours, remove the chicken to a cutting board. When cool enough to handle, shred the meat with a fork. Return the shredded chicken to the slow cooker, Serve when ready.
