š 13 Ingredients. 2 Blends. 1 Crockpot. The Organic Chemist Strikes Again! š

HS Creations Crockpot Herb Chicken & Potatoes ā A little culinary chemistry, a whole lot of flavor, and leftovers worth fighting over.
I DONāT FOLLOW RECIPES. I MAKE MY OWN.
Well, here we go again.
I had chicken breasts, potatoes, onions, celery, scallions, and a Crockpot.
Nothing particularly exciting.
But dinner wasnāt going to make itself.
Actually, with a Crockpot, I guess it kind of does. š
I wanted something comforting. Not creamy. Not swimming in thick gravy. Just tender chicken, hearty vegetables, and a beautiful, flavorful broth.
So I started with a simple recipe. And then?
THE ORGANIC CHEMIST GOT INVOLVED.
Which usually means somebodyās recipe is about to get a personality adjustment. š
š§Ŗ The Experiment: Good Recipe. More Flavor.
Our original recipe called for:
1 TBSP HS Creations Poultry Solved!
1 tsp HS Creations Savory Stuffing
Perfectly reasonable.
But reasonable and I donāt always get along in the kitchen.
I started thinking about the flavor chemistry.
What would happen if I increased BOTH blends?
Would the garlic overpower the sage?
Would the herbs compete?
Would the chicken taste like Thanksgiving had crashed into a spice cabinet?
Only one way to find out!
I increased the seasonings to 2 tablespoons of EACH blend.
And the verdict?
PERFECT BALANCE. LOTS OF FLAVOR.
Sometimes experimenting pays off.
And sometimes you end up ordering pizza.
Thankfully, this was not a pizza night. š
š² THE RECIPE: HS Creations Crockpot Herb Chicken & Potatoes
Servings:Ā Approximately 4
Prep Time:Ā 10ā15 minutes
Cook Time:Ā Approximately 4-6 hours on HIGH
š„ Ingredients
2ā3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
3ā4 Yukon Gold potatoes, quartered
1 medium white onion, chopped
2ā3 celery stalks, chopped
3 scallions, sliced
2½ cups chicken broth, preferably low-sodium
3 TBSP butter
2 TBSP HS Creations Poultry Solved! Blend
2 TBSP HS Creations Savory Stuffing Blend
Thatās it!
No complicated preparation.
No standing over a stove.
No wondering why you suddenly have 47 dirty dishes.
š©āš³ Crockpot Directions
Step 1: Give the vegetables the bottom bunk.
Place the potatoes, chopped onion, and celery in the bottom of your Crockpot.
Theyāll cook in that wonderful seasoned broth.
Step 2: Start the flavor party.
Sprinkle approximately half of your combined HS Creations seasonings over the vegetables.
Step 3: Bring in the chicken.
Place the chicken breasts on top of the vegetables.
Sprinkle the remaining seasonings over the chicken.
Step 4: Everybody into the pool!
Pour in 2½ cups chicken broth.
Add the butter in pats over the top.
No need to drown the chicken. Weāre making dinner, not teaching it to swim. š
Step 5: Put the lid on and walk away.
Cook on LOW for approximately 3ā5 hours.
Cooking time depends on your Crockpot and the thickness of the chicken breasts.
The chicken must reach an internal temperature of 165°F, and the potatoes should be fork-tender.
Step 6: The finishing touch.
Add the sliced scallions during the final 10ā15 minutes.
Step 7: Dinner is served!
Slice or shred the chicken.
Serve with potatoes, vegetables, and generous ladles of that savory, herb-infused broth.
Grab some crusty bread.
Trust me. Youāre going to want it.
šæ Letās Talk Culinary Chemistry!
Hereās where The Organic Chemist gets excited. And yes, I realize most people donāt get excited discussing the relationship between sage and garlic.
I do.
Itās a problem. š
š Poultry Solved! ā The Savory Foundation
This blend contains:
Black pepper, cayenne, dry mustard, garlic, kosher salt, onion, oregano, paprika, parsley, and thyme.
It brings garlic, herbs, gentle warmth, and savory depth to the chicken.
š Savory Stuffing ā The Comfort Factor
This blend contains:
Celery, onion, parsley, kosher salt, chicken bouillon, sage, and black pepper.
Itās that familiar, cozy flavor we associate with holiday stuffing and roasted poultry.
Why do they work together?
Poultry Solved! brings the garlic, herbs, and warm spices.
Savory Stuffing adds sage, celery, onion, and chicken-bouillon richness.
Together, they build a layered flavor profile that complements the chicken, potatoes, and broth.
And hereās the beautiful part.
THIRTEEN DISTINCT SEASONING INGREDIENTS. TWO HANDCRAFTED BLENDS.
I didnāt have to measure out thirteen individual ingredients.
Because I already did!
