That’s a Wrap! Second Kitchen Blend — Ordinary Was Never the Plan!
A Little History. A Little Mystery. A Whole Lot of Flavor.
What did we learn this week at HS Creations?
Apparently, I created a seasoning that doesn’t know what food group it belongs to. 😂
And honestly? I LOVE THAT.
Inspired by the history of Europe’s second kitchens, Second Kitchen Blend (Kitchen Spice) brings together eight unexpected ingredients:
Allspice, Kosher Salt, Lemon Peel, Dry Mustard, Ginger, Black Pepper, Cayenne Pepper, and Nutmeg.
Warm. Citrusy. Savory. Peppery. Completely unexpected!
One Organic Spice Blend. So Many Possibilities.
This week, we explored just how versatile Second Kitchen Blend can be.
🍤 Citrus Butter Shrimp — Buttery shrimp with bright lemon and warm spices.
🍍 Grilled Pineapple — Sweet, caramelized pineapple with a surprising savory kick.
🥔 Crispy Smashed Potatoes — Golden, crunchy potatoes with a little unexpected attitude.
🥕 Roasted Fall Vegetables — Carrots and parsnips transformed into a beautiful side dish for fall dinners and holiday gatherings.
Who knew one little tin could get into so much trouble? 😂
What Makes Second Kitchen Blend Different?
The combination of warm spices, citrus, mustard, and pepper creates a flavor profile that works with both sweet and savory foods.
It’s not your typical everyday seasoning.
And that’s exactly the point.
You don’t need eight separate spice jars or complicated recipes. Just one thoughtfully crafted blend.
