Ingredients
1 lb shrimp, fish fillets, or scallops (peeled and cleaned)
2 TBSP of HS Creations' Under the Sea Blend
1 Cup all-purpose flour or breadcrumbs
2 eggs (beaten)
Salt and pepper (to taste)
Oil for frying (if frying)
Lemon wedges (for serving)
Directions
Preheat oven to 400°F (if baking) or heat oil in a deep skillet over medium-high heat (if frying)
Pat the seafood dry with paper towels. Season lightly with salt and pepper
In a shallow bowl, mix flour or breadcrumbs with Under the Sea Blend seasoning
Dip each piece of seafood into the beaten eggs, then coat evenly with the seasoned flour or breadcrumbs
If frying: Fry seafood in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side. Drain on paper towels
If baking: Place coated seafood on a lined baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until crispy and cooked through
Serve hot with lemon wedges and your favorite dipping sauce
Tip: For extra crunch, try panko breadcrumbs. For a lighter version, bake instead of fry.
