Ingredients
· 1 lb shrimp, fish fillets, or scallops (peeled and cleaned)
· 2 tablespoons Under the Sea Blend seasoning
· 1 cup all-purpose flour or breadcrumbs
· 2 eggs (beaten)
· Salt and pepper to taste
· Oil for frying (if frying)
· Lemon wedges (for serving)
Directions
1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (if baking) or heat oil in a deep skillet over medium-high heat (if frying).
2. Pat the seafood dry with paper towels. Season lightly with salt and pepper.
3. In a shallow bowl, mix flour or breadcrumbs with Under the Sea Blend seasoning.
4. Dip each piece of seafood into the beaten eggs, then coat evenly with the seasoned flour or breadcrumbs.
5. If frying: Fry seafood in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side. Drain on paper towels.
6. If baking: Place coated seafood on a lined baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until crispy and cooked through.
7. Serve hot with lemon wedges and your favorite dipping sauce.
Tip: For extra crunch, try panko breadcrumbs. For a lighter version, bake instead of fry.
