ššæ THATāS A WRAP! SAVORY STUFFING BLEND ā WHAT DID WE LEARN THIS WEEK?
Wellā¦
We started the week with a blend called Savory Stuffing.
So obviously we were going to talk about stuffing.
And then we basically ignored the word āstuffing.ā š
Because that was the whole point of this week.
Inside this little tin are:
šæ Celery
š§ Onion
šæ Parsley
š§ Kosher Salt
š Chicken Bouillon
šæ Sage
š¤ Black Pepper
Seven ingredients already working together.
That classic warm, savory combination isnāt useful only when thereās a turkey sitting on the table.
We showed how Savory Stuffing Blend can bring that same flavor to chicken, potatoes, pork, vegetables, soups, casseroles and savory butter.
And then we REALLY tested the name.
š§ š§ SAVORY STUFFING FRENCH ONION GRILLED CHEESE.
Yep.
We put Savory Stuffing Blend into the caramelized onions.
Then mixed it into butter and spread THAT on the outside of hearty bread.
Added gooey Swiss + GruyĆØre, grilled the whole beautiful mess until crispy and golden, and served it with warm French onion-style broth for dipping.
Stuffing was nowhere to be found. š
And THAT might be my favorite lesson from this week:
A seasoning blend doesnāt have to stay in the lane its name suggests.
Sometimes you just have to look at whatās actually inside the tin and ask:
āWhat else can I do with this?ā
Apparently with Savory Stuffing Blendā¦
QUITE A LOT. ššæ
So thatās a wrap on Savory Week.
THE NAME SAYS STUFFING.
THE TIN HAS OTHER PLANS.
šæ ONE TIN. ZERO RESPECT FOR THE RULES.
